“Rinktinės URBAN II” is the second of the three successfully developed modern complexes of residential house in the centre of Vilnius. New residents are already settling in the “Rinktinės URBAN” houses nearby; housewarming parties will also be held in the “Rinktinės URBAN II” block in a year as well.
The design of these houses focuses on the future resident – an active city-dweller who wishes to live in the centre of the city but at the same time in a quieter environment. Gediminas Avenue, Neris esplanade, city parks and all you need for pleasant recreation after work: theatres, cafés, shops, space for running, cycling or going for a walk are at a hand’s reach here.
“This is an ongoing project; therefore, the new houses will be connected to the already built ones. However, there will be some differences as well: the new buildings will be five/six and eight/nine-storey buildings, there will be more terraces at the ground-floor level, and the courtyard will be given more attention: it will be like another common “oasis” for all residents. By the way, it will be original, painting-like: we “painted” its ornament by tiles, lawn and paving blocks. It will look especially nice from the upper floors,” the designer of the new houses, architect Tadas Balčiūnas talked about them.
Three nine- and five-storey buildings with 186 apartments area of which will be from 30 to 120 sq. m. will be constructed in this complex. Those who want a different area can buy and combine several apartments, thus, making them even more spacious.
There will be a two-storey underground car parking lot able to accommodate 201 cars under the houses, and 152 closed storages for bicycles and belongings with area from 3.50 to 7.70 sq. m. will be constructed.
Energy performance class of the “Rinktinės URBAN II” houses will be A: such indicators have already become the housing standard of “UAB Merko”. This energy performance class will be ensured by high-quality construction materials, flawless performance and professional supervision of construction work.
How does it look in reality? You can make sure of that by seeing the first already built “Rinktinės URBAN” block as the same structures and the same solutions will be used when building the second one.
The houses will be heated by central heating with individual heat accounting in the apartments. Floor heating will be installed in the apartments. Each building will be equipped with a separate centralized regenerative ventilation system. Taking into account the heat of the last and future summers, the possibility to connect air conditioning devices is planned for each apartment. Residents wishing to install such a system will be able to install its external part on the roof or in the underground parking lot in order for the facade of the building to look good visually.
Warmth, cosiness and comfortable living for the residents both in cold winters and hot summers was taken into account while constructing these houses.
People who value advanced technologies choose environmentally-friendly hybrid or electric cars increasingly more often. We are sure that there will be such residents in the “Rinktinės URBAN II” houses as well. Therefore, we took care of the need to look for a spot to charge electric cars: six charging stations will be installed in the underground parking lot.
“HomeBox” charging stations designed to be installed at home are as safe and comfortable as public charging stations. They are equipped with all the necessary systems for ensuring safety: a communicator, which carries out the standardized communication with the electric car, overcurrent and leakage protection.
You will be able to go home with a peace of mind and know that both you and your car will be full of energy on the next morning.
A proper spot is provided for everything in the new houses. A bike is certainly not an element of the interior or a “decoration” of the balcony. Therefore, 152 individual bicycle storages are designed in the underground parking lot of the “Rinktinės URBAN II” houses. Their area will vary from 3.50 to 7.70 sq. m. A common bicycle storage will also constructed on the ground floor with a self-service bicycle repair station nearby.
As such conditions are provided for storing and repairing bicycles, we have no doubts that riding a bike will become a really pleasant pastime (if it is not yet).
All the more true that comfortable bicycle routes paved along Neris esplanades are very close. Maybe even going to work will be more enjoyable by bike than car?
It is said that neighbours do not know each other in apartment buildings and pass by each other without even saying “hello”. The residents of “Rinktinės URBAN II” will be able to avoid that because they will have a common space – a cosy inner courtyard which may become a place both for recreation and neighbours’ gatherings. Recreation areas and a playground will be constructed in it: we are sure that the little ones will make friends here soon.
The courtyard will be not only comfortable but also original. Its lawns, pathways and other spaces turned into ornaments of different colours in the course of design which both the people looking from above and walking around the courtyard will be able to enjoy.
Those who have not visited Vilnius for five years will not recognize the location where the “Rinktinės URBAN II” houses are being constructed now. An abandoned area near the city centre turned into an attractive block, the residents of which will be able to reach all important places of Vilnius on foot: the new business centre in Konstitucijos Avenue, the old town, Gediminas Avenue as well as Sereikiškių and Kalnų parks.
Just a 10-minute walk and you are in the old town of Vilnius which offers a variety of entertainment: theatres, cafés, bars and restaurants. And no racking your brain about where to leave your car. It will be patiently waiting for you in the garage of your home.
“Rinktinės URBAN II” – an oasis of tranquillity in the city centre!
